Del Bosque, painter of soul and colour, born in 1960 in Sint Agathe-Berchem, grew up as the youngest sprout in a family of four children. Little Del Bosque looked up to his artistic father, who painted several canvases himself.
As a child, he sometimes accompanied his parents on coffee visits to Paul Delvaux. Those encounters, combined with his fascination with big names like Dalí, Miró and Picasso, sparked a deep-seated love for art. During trips abroad, museums, exhibitions and cultural encounters became regular stops.
The urge to create himself grew over the years. In his studio, Del Bosque explores different styles and techniques. He literally and figuratively paints outside the lines, experiments with materials and layers for depth and movement. His signature: structured compositions, powerful basic colours and a palpable energy.
In each work is his heart, not hidden away, but tangible. His mission: to share art, not elevate it. Art belongs with people, which is why his paintings regularly find a new place, a new life. He wants to touch, connect, amaze. His works, often shown at vernissages and exhibitions, speak as loudly as they whisper. What he gives is more than paint. It is a piece of soul, shaped in light and line.
