Del Bosque, born in 1960 in Sint Agathe-Berchem, grew up as the youngest sprout in a family of four children. Little Del Bosque looked up to his artistic father, who painted several canvases himself. The work Maria is still owned by the family.
As a little boy, he occasionally accompanied his parents on coffee visits to Paul Delvaux. He immersed himself in the works of famous artists and started his collection with lithographs by Salvador Dali, Miró and Picasso, among others. On trips abroad, he invariably planned visits to exhibitions, museums and cultural events.
The older he got, the greater the urge to create art himself. Behind his easel, he tries out numerous styles and techniques. He finds inspiration in his richly filled life past and present.
He challenges himself to paint literally and figuratively outside the lines. Thus, he practices with different materials and experiments with new techniques. For instance, he likes to structure first for more depth and movement. Bright basic colors give his creations a dynamic and warm look. His collection, built up over the years, regularly appears in exhibitions and vernissages.
Del Bosques mission is to make art accessible to all. Every artistic soul deserves the chance to buy artworks. Thanks to democratic prices, his paintings regularly get a new life in a different interior and Del Bosque can continue to indulge his inspiration in new works. Piece by piece creations in which he puts his heart and soul.
